This is a qualification for those engaged in supply chain operations and includes specialisations for logistics and warehousing operations.
This qualification involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods and procedures, where some discretion and judgement is required in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures within known time constraints. Of the fourteen (14) units required, there are two (2) compulsory (core) and twelve (12) elective units. A sample course structure would be as follows:

Learning Arrangements
This course runs over a 12 month period. Classes are conducted once per month, for trainees workplace visits occur each month, as agreed with yourself and your workplace supervisor. Students experience hands-on practice of skills in a safe, monitored environment and are assessed in the workplace.
You will be allocated a highly experienced and qualified Trainer/Assessor who can provide you support face-to-face, over the phone, or email as required.
Work Place
Your Trainer/Assessor will visit you in the workplace to provide you with support with your learning and assessments.
During the enrolment process, students will go through their training and assessment arrangements in detail, including what units are most suitable to your needs and what support strategies will help you complete your qualification.
Assessments
All assessments are competency based. You will be assessed against each unit of competency as you complete the full qualification.

Skills Recognition / Credit Transfer
The process of Skills Recognition (Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Recognition of Current Competencies) gives those people with the relevant experience the opportunity to gain formal recognition for their competencies (skills and knowledge) gained through life, work and study, regardless of where, when and how they were achieved.
Participants are responsible for gathering evidence that will show they have the required competencies to the standard set out by the industry in the National Competency Standards.
If you have already completed some of the units of this qualification elsewhere, please provide us with a copy of your certificates for a direct exemption.
